Allen Pacheco

Allen Pacheco is the Director of Bands and Mariachi at Hoover Middle School. He prioritizes building strong relationships with students and families while helping young musicians develop professionalism and pride in their craft.

Before joining Hoover Middle School, Mr. Pacheco directed Mariachi OroAzul, a student-led mariachi ensemble at San José State University in 2023, and also worked with San Jose Jazz.  Beyond the classroom, Mr. Pacheco is an active Bay Area musician and composer. He leads Pachex, his alternative R&B project that draws influence from R&B music and Reggae influence. His passion for performing and creating continues to shape his teaching, connecting students to the real-world artistry of music.
