About the Program

Choir - Beginning (6th-8th grade): (No experience needed) Open to everyone, all grade levels. Students will learn different kinds of music, perform in various concerts throughout the year, and have opportunities to go on field trips.

Choir-Audition:(6th-8th grade): Open to those with singing experience. If you sign up you will be placed in either Intermediate or Advanced. The same concepts are taught as in beginning choir, but at a faster and more advanced level. Students will also perform in multiple concerts throughout the year, with opportunities for field trips as well.

Victoria Arribere got her degree and credential at San Jose State University, following her AA at Gavilan Community College in Gilroy, where she grew up. She believes that all students should have access to a musical education, and looks forward to growing the program here at Hoover.
