Orchestra

About the Program

Orchestra - Beginning (6th-8th grade): Students will learn how to read music and play one of the four string orchestra instruments: violin, viola, cello or bass - No experience required.  Students are expected to participate in 2 concerts throughout the year.

Orchestra - Audition Level - Intermediate or Advanced (6-8th grade): This is a performance-based class where students need to have a strong understanding of note reading and playing a string orchestra instrument.  Students are expected to participate in multiple concerts throughout the year.  The teacher will place students in appropriate classes based on ability.

Instruments include violin, viola, cello and bass.
